Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund for eSIM plans and wallet credits on megaesim.us.
1. How payment works
eSIM plans are not charged directly to your card at checkout. You first add prepaid credit to your account wallet via Stripe Checkout. Each plan purchase is then deducted from your wallet balance. This policy covers refunds for both plan orders and wallet top-ups.
2. Plan orders — eligible for a refund
- The eSIM has not been installed on any device.
- The eSIM has been installed but not activated (no data session has been opened).
- You request the refund within 14 days of purchase.
- The plan is provably defective (e.g. the activation profile fails to install on a verified compatible device).
3. Plan orders — not eligible for a refund
- The eSIM has already been activated and used (any data consumption disqualifies the order from refund).
- The eSIM has been delivered (QR code and setup details sent to the specified email) and is working as described.
- The validity period has expired.
- The device is incompatible or carrier-locked, where this could have been verified before purchase.
- Loss of coverage caused by partner-network incidents outside our reasonable control.
4. Wallet top-ups — eligible for a refund
Unused wallet credit may be refunded to your original payment method (via Stripe) if you request it and no eSIM plan has been activated from that credit. Partial refunds may apply if only part of the balance remains unused.
5. How to request a refund
Email contact@megaesim.us from the address linked to your account, stating the order number (visible in "My orders") or wallet top-up reference, and the reason for the refund. We will respond within two business days.
6. How refunds are issued
Approved plan-order refunds are credited back to your account wallet in EUR. You can use that balance for a future plan or request a payout of unused wallet credit to your card as described in section 4.
Approved wallet top-up refunds are sent back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. Statutory rights
This policy does not override any consumer protection rights you have under the applicable law of your country of residence.
